Yeah! 17 Illegals Rounded Up in Hunt for Deputy's Attacker

17 illegal immigrants were caught in southern Arizona today as Police continued a manhunt for smugglers who shot and wounded a sheriff's deputy in a desert 50 miles south of Phoenix. The Deputy had come across a stash of marijuana bales and five smugglers. At least one of the suspects opened fire on him.

Three of the 17 rounded up matched the description of the attackers.

Alright Arizona - you do what you have to do to protect your citizens. We're glad that at least one government in America is taking their job seriously.

Border States Deal with most Illegal Immigrant Crime

"We've been inundated with criminal activity. It's just -- it's been outrageous," Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer told Fox News.

"Crime is off the chart in this state," added Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, president of the Arizona Association of Sheriffs.

Wake up, liberals. It must have been people like you that sat back and said nothing, pretending it's not all that bad, while Hitler rounded up and murdered their neighbors. Wake up and see reality. Something has to be done, and if it were your ranch on the border, and your children playing in the yard, you might be a little more realistic about this.

And it's not just right on the border - the problem is in Pheonix, as well...

"The Department of Justice's latest National Drug Threat Assessment says there were 267 kidnappings in Phoenix last year and 299 in 2008. The report said the victims usually have a connection to immigrant smuggling groups or drug traffickers."

Leave the people of Arizona alone. They have a right to run their state, and they have a right to protect their families. And Hey! The PEOPLE of Arizona - Legal US Citizens - come in all shapes, sizes, and colors! Americans of Mexican heritage don't want their kids hurt by drug wars anymore than persons of any heritage do!

Obama Decides Congress Won't do Immigration Bill Right Away

What happened to Separation of Powers? Why is Obama in Control of the Congressional Agenda?

Obama says that there "may not be an appetite" in Congress to deal with immigration after last months fight over Health care.

Well, here we are, with the one issue that truly IS Congresses job to address, and they don't have the guts to do the work. Well, if they hadn't wasted the last year taking care of business that wasn't theirs to take care of...like...throwing our money at car companies and banks...and forcing health legislation on us...maybe they would have the stomach to do their real job: protecting our borders.

Then Obama says he "didn't want to force an immigration bill through Congress "just for the sake of politics."

OMG you have got to be kidding me. He has spent his entire term so far stuffing things down our throats for the sake of politics. Why should he stop now? Because we are so angry and we don't want the immigration bill that he wants to offer?

Further, finally dealing with the problems at our southern border isn't "just for the sake of politics." What's wrong with this guy? Dealing with the borders is a necessity - a long overdue necessity!

I can't wait til we can impeach this guy.
